As part of the Erasmus+ SmartWB (www.smartwb.ucg.ac.me) activities, the inter-project coaching event was held at the Technische Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe (THOWL) in Germany from June 13 to 14, 2024. The event was designed to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration between various water management and education projects within the Erasmus+ framework.
During the event, Milan Gocić, a team member of the Skills4Water project from the University of Nis, delivered a comprehensive presentation. He outlined the project’s structure and goals, emphasizing its alignment with the broader objectives of improving water management and education in Europe. Also, he explained that the Skills4Water project aims to bridge the gap between technical education and industry requirements by integrating essential soft skills into the educational framework for water professionals and described ongoing activities, including training sessions, and the development of a soft skills framework tailored to the needs of the water sector.
The presentation sparked a lively discussion among attendees, who recognized the value of incorporating soft skills into water management education. Participants shared their experiences and insights, exploring opportunities for collaboration.
